We flew in to Sandakan from Kota Kinabalu with Air Asia We were picked up from the airport by Taxi, pre arranged with Sepilok Forest Edge Resort After settling into our room, we went for a walk through the Jungle Trail.

Agnes Keith House:-

The English Tea House:-

We took a strol down from the Sabah Hotel to see the Agnes Keith House. The house is set on a hill top over looking Sandakan Bay (with The English Tea House next door). Agnes Keith's house was restored in 2001 and opened to the public as a museum in April 2004, it shows the life sytle of Agnes Keith during her time there. Whilst living there, she wrote 3 books about Sabah and Borneo.

We had scones and tea at The English Tea House in the afternoon and thought the setting was so nice we booked for dinner that evening too. The evening meal was, starters Sea Scallop, Larb Bai followed by Beef Rendang and Tiger Prawns, we had a bottle of house white to wash it down with. With views out over Sandakan bay, you couldnt ask for a nices spot.
